Heart of the Earth Retreat
El corazón de la tierra
25 February to 3 of March 2025With Rosy Kantu & Erik (Aquario)
At the end of February 2025 in the mountains of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Peru
surrounded by beautiful peaceful nature in the Andes
we will share with you a sacred space ‘Heart of the Earth’.
7 days to connect deeply with the medicine of the earth, the mountains, fresh air
silence, healthy food, deep contact with Andean wisdom
community and the medicine of Peruvian Cacao.
The purpose of our retreat is to listen to the heart of the earth
to receive the medicine from the mountains, Apus and to listen to our deep voice.
We are nature, not seperate from Mother Earth.
In this connection we will remember and listen to our true nature
bringing offerings to Pachamama in reciprocity for all that she gives us.
We’ll visit ancient Inca temples and beautiful sites to receive the deepness and power of these sacred mountains, finding time to rest from fast life of the modern world, entering into a more calm and peaceful rhythm, inspired by indigenous families that live in connection with Pachamama.
The medicine of the Amazonian Cacao will help us to connect
to our pure heart, where healing can happen.
We’ll meet in circles, co-create ceremonies
where we discover our authentic voice
that is waiting to be expressed.
We are looking forward to share and explore
the magic of these ancient lands
with all of you!
with all of you!

The rainy season in Cusco is from November to March.
Bring a rain poncho, warm clothes, hat, hiking shoes with grip.
Transportation
Take a plane flight from the city of Lima to the city of Cusco (flight time is 1 hour). It is possible to sleep some nights in Cusco city. From Cusco take a taxi to the Sacred Valley of the Incas (Pisac) the trip takes about 1 hour and costs (about 20 €). We have recommendations of taxi drivers.
Currency
The official currency in Peru is “Soles”.
It is possible to change Euros to Soles in “exchange houses” in the main square of Cuzco city or in the main square of Pisac. There are machines to withdraw soles or dollars in all cities of the country.
We recommend to have soles in cash, there are communities with beautiful handmade weavings to support that only accept soles in cash.
Recommendations
- Bring a hat and sunscreen, the sun is really strong ☀️ in the heights.
- Make everything slower to adapt to the slow rhythm of the heights.
- Eat light and healthy meals to adapt (avoid fats)
- Buy water to drink (don't drink water from the pipes)
- Drink hojas de Coca tea in Cuzco, to acclimatize.
- It is not recommended to eat in street stalls for health reasons.
- Enjoy every second of the journey
More places to visit on your own:
Machu Picchu, Chincheros, Maras, Moray, Ollantaytambo, Sacsayhuaman. We recommend hiring a travel agency. Information about Machu Picchu: www.machupicchu.gob.pe
We are happy to give you recommendations for the following weeks of your trip to Peru.
